Railbird is keeping track of this week's drug issues (and Barry Irwin's response) as well as Man of Iron's debut (so far, he's following in big sister Rags to Riches' footsteps of having an unspectacular showing first time out). Left at the Gate is following some similar threads. Green but Game wonders what you think about the Jeremy Rose suspension and Brooklyn Backstretch ponders the meaning of royal headgear. Neither The Bug Boys nor Handride nor...well, really, anyone is impressed by the caliber of fields for this weekend's nominal G1 races, although it's great to have Proud Spell back (even if everyone is ducking her). Is she currently the best 3-year-old in training in the At least things look a little livelier on the West Coast with Tiago and Student Council in the Hollywood Gold Cup, but even that race is now missing Heatseeker. Clearly, everyone is in vacation mode, including your own Superfecta, who will be absent until Saturday, July 5th, undertaking important work relating to Dogfish Head's second batch of Theobroma. A female beer judge's work is never done. In the meantime, keep up with what's happening around the TBA and check out the transcript of Alex Brown's Talkin' Horses chat at the Blood-Horse. Have a great holiday! |
