Winning Colors' Winning Filly

Winning Colors may be gone, but her second-to-last foal won her debut in style at Churchill Downs; her time for the five furlong race is the best of the meet so far. A dark grey filly like her mother (well, like her mother at 2), Ocean Colors is trained by Steve Asmussen. It sounds as though she also inherited her sire's blazing speed -- she is by champion sprinter Orientate. If anyone was still in need of a palate cleanser after this year's Triple Crown, perhaps this is it.
